Bought some camellia s fro. Aldi good bargains and in bud. Shall I plant out now or wait till it's a bit warmer ?

They be ok if forecast frost put some flease or old net curtain on them

You will need to add eracious soil to the hole before planting, also cover base of plant with eracious soil, yes you can plant it now, use a protective fleece if you have frost

Keep them out of any area that gets high winds, they hate the it. I learnt the hard way

Ours has been planted out over 2; years frost not bothered it, growing taller do not plant where you get too much sunshine

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I was looking at them in Tesco today, they were reduced to £3 because they were looking a bit worse for wear and obviously hasn't been watered ‍♂️ I was at work and couldn't pick one up unfortunately!

@albite Wilkinson are doing them for 3 pounds, i bought 2 last week, going back tomorrow for another 2, they are very fresh

@albite 4. 99 from Aldi and lots of buds on nice and green . Bought two then saw some in a garden centre same size more or less 20 pounds each! So went back and bought two more got one pink one and two white ones and one red one all in bud and good health
