Question

My daughter just asked me to regrow her carrot and normally I would say no but I've seen people on here doing it. How do you regrow your veg ?

You can get the carrot tops to grow new leaves, but not new carrots (unless you collect the seeds when they grow) I've had good success with celery, onions, garlic and potatoes and there's a few others you can do like ginger, mint etc. You can also collect seeds from tomatoes, oranges, pretty much anything with seeds

Carrots don’t regrow, only the tops which will eventually go to seed.

We’ve been giving a bit of everything a go. At the front is little gem lettuce and at the back is sweetheart cabbage.

Also don’t forget you can use your seeds from peppers and tomatoes.
