Question

I’ve cut and pulled out a huge tree root that was next doors . Google says I’ve gotta give it back - do I really have to ? It’s as thick as my wrist and atleast 5ft long. No idea what tree it is it’s only small but it’s only a foot or so away from the fence line .

I am so confused by this conversation. You dug up a tree root on your property to a neighbor's tree? And now you have to give the root back?

Thought I’d read somewhere that giving it back was no longer the case
