Also known as California Lilac. I did have one but hard pruning killed it so take care. Always leave new growth below the cut. I will be getting another as I love them

i have one, which hardly ever flowered. So my son and I dug it out, to get rid. This was about 4/5 years ago. Lol, we can't have got rid of all the roots, because this is it now

take a piece of it strip leaves off from bottom and any bark about 2-3 inches dip into rooting powder or gel and plant in small flower pot X

This is mine been in four year and bought it when it was in a small plastic plant pot a couple of inches high just left it no pruning it’s about 6ft high and 4 ft wide stunning at the minute and the bees love it x

i planted one about 15 yrs ago, and same thing happened, it died, i didn't bother digging it up, other plants just grew in its place, well low and behold, it came back last year, and you should see it now. Lol.
