Help!  What is happening to my beautiful indoor peace lily?Help! What is happening to my beautiful indoor peace lily? Please advise!

The roots are out growing the pot. You will need to transplant to a bigger plant container. Once you get the container. Be sure to drill wholes in it if it does not have any it will give the plant oxygen to breath. Add a drip pan underneath to catch the excess water and you will not need to water as much. For you plant mixer it will depend on what size container you get. For me I use a 1/2 mixer of both Miracle-Gro potting soil moisture and all purpose garden soil. Then place the pot where there is minimum sunlight. Note before doing all this remove the dead or dried out leaves because the will drain the new growth. Hope this helps. It worked for me and mine.

Try watering only when the leaves start to droop. Same thing happened to by golden dragon tree until I started to just ignore it more!

Could be to much light not enough to much water or not enough  cut the bad leaves off at an angle and the dead flowers check the compost

Mine did this I Cut it back and the dead leaves off and its recovering well now. have had it few years and it had been fine until then so no idea why it went like that .

Simply to much light, peace lilys like warm, shaded places, they also like nicotine as bizarre as that sounds, so if you know a smoker get them to puff on your plant. If your not sure on watering, simply fill a bowl, put plant in the water (water should rise half way up the pot) leave for 15 mins, and allow to drain, repeat whenever soil drys. Doing it this way the plant will take all the water it needs.

@vuillard5 artificial light? As it isn’t near a window. I don’t think I could get it out of its pot to stand in water. but I’ll see if I can find a smoker! Thanks!

@gametangium you put the pot in water with the plant still in. Im assuming the pot has drainage holes? If there arent drainage holes you need to be careful as to much water sitting in the pot could rot the roots. Not sure about artifical light. Mines 3 meters away from the window, in a shaded corner, as long as direct light isnt on the leaves, as thats what causes them to turn yellow. I know the nicotine things random, but i picked up the tip from a gardener on tv, so thought it worth a mention, he was right about the water, i havent killed a plant since i started watering my indoor plants this way, and i dont get the horrid brown shrivelled tips to the leaves anymore, so its worth trying.
