Split and pot on nip out the tops and also do all the side shoots the plant will give more side shoots nip out the tops of the side shoots when more leaves Appear, keep doing this for a few weeks if not more you will be left with a good bushy plant that will give you more flowers probably plant out mid June after risk of frost after they been hardened off , you can support with sticks if they get to tall

Sweet Peas are hardy annuals. You can plant them outside in September and leave them over winter in the garden and they will continue to grow when the weather warms up. I would harden them off and plant if you’ve got somewhere to put them and the ground is not too wet or frozen.
