My lawn is patchy with moss and weeds. I'm really never done gardening before. Would I be able to just put grass seed down? Is it the right time of year?

Hi your rabbit is cute. I am not sure when is best to put grass seed down but if you’re rabbit is outside all the time it might eat the grass seeds. We have rabbits ourselves and they eat the bird seed so it might be the same for grass seed. Try cutting it on a high setting and see if it grows back and maybe watering it, it looks quite dry.

@resistless thank you. Its now been cut right back but has patches of moss. I didn't even think of domino eating the seeds she has free run of the garden

Yes, you would be able to put down grass seed. Given the current situation though, I would suggest you make your garden more productive and actually use the space to grow your own food. Grass, to me at least, seems such a waste of space (and a lot of work too! ).

@grubb thank you for your suggestion. I have children and this is their only area to ay at the moment.
