Has anyone had the problem of not being able to stop losing weight? I finished my first week of phase 3 and still lost a pound. The problem is I don't have any appetite and am not eating enough for lunch and dinner. I have to force myself to eat. It is the stress of everything going on. My usual reaction to this amount of stress is to eat sugar. I had cancer and I know sugar feeds cancer so I am not cheating or even want to. Any suggestions to up my calorie count and stay on protocol? Could i eat 1/2 or full unrestricted bar? Thanks

If you eat the required Phase 3 foods and don’t skip lunch or dinner, you’ll be on protocol and will maintain. Adding a bar is a band aid solution. You have to figure what protocol meats and veggies appeal to you.

@welsh I just can't force myself to eat the whole lunch or dinner portion. I am just looking for a band aid for the next week. After that I can add more types of food with higher calorie count

If you are interested in trading appetites, I'd be more than willing to trade mine with yours

Can you add some fat to your diet? Add some avocado to meals or some full fat salad dressings to salads? I have not made it as far as phase 3 so I am not sure what the eating is like at that point.

@backset300 not really. I don't eat any produce I can't cook or peel due to the virus. I don't like avocado.

Nothing to do with this particular diet but I’ve had family members not have appetite and Dr prescribed Ensure shakes.

My first time I lost weight until I completely phased off and than I gained a few pounds back and than maintained that weight. I went 7lbs below my goal from phase 2 and 3.

I continued to lose in phases 2 and 3 back in October. Was really hard for me to stop, it didn’t really happen until I stopped eating IP products and introduced more carbs.
