Konjac I think! So how does one eat them and when? And what do they count as

@populate7055 I think they are a O/O/O food.

They are listed as one cup a day allowed. Make sure it’s original Shirataki and not tofu.

@populate7055 I get them at Walmart in Canada. I also just ordered from the Nu Pasta website and they had some on a good sale and free shipping.

@populate7055 Sobeys and Superstore sell them- in the health food section. Buy the ones with no additives (zero net carbs) and watch portion size.

Rinse them a lot. Then one more time.

You can get miracle noodles in Amazon. I use the Walden Farms Spaghetti Sauce and add in veggies: mudrooms, red peppers. get my veggies in and it feels like I am eating pasta. They are expensive. But my mind is fooled and on some days I just need some extra bulk.

Health food section at Superstore or Y. I. G. and health food stores carry them. They are flavourless a little rubbery. I prefer to buy them in the rice format.

They say to boil for 2-3 minutes but I rinse them thoroughly and heat them in the sauce they will be served with. Sauce tends to adhere to them better that way.

They do have a texture that is a little different but with sauce, they are pretty good.

Miracle noodles. Can be bought on Amazon. I like the fettucci the best. They smell really bad. Dump the water and rinse in cold water well. The smell goes away and does not taste poorly. I use them for my speghetti. They are usually 0 calories. You can also buy at some grocery stores. These usually have some tofu and are about 20 calories.

Rinse for at leasts 2 minutes and then throw them in a skillet and heat until all the moisture is gone. Rinsing helps take away the smell (they smell like fish when you first open the bag) and tossing them in a skillet helps with the texture.
