I wanted to share an opinion/thought. Weight loss is a finicky thing. I have been on this journey since the beginning of November. I have lost most weeks, some weeks I have literally stayed the same. I would OBSESS over why I wasn't seeing results but other people were. But one thing I had failed to recognize is that I have LOST weight. I would get so upset if I didn't see that stupid number on the scale go down. I would get so emotionally drained thinking that something is wrong with ME, what was I doing wrong? Then I decided to stop dwelling on that negativity and look for the positives. Since November 8th, 2019, I have lost 34 pounds. To me, it would originally signify that I have ONLY lost 34 pounds in 3 months. But NOW. I think about the bigger picture, that I have lost 34 pounds in 3 months, that is 3 pounds PER FREAKING WEEK on average. I NEED you all to know, if you are just starting this journey, or if you have been going at it for a few months now, that YOU are doing amazing. Stop concentrating so damn hard about "I ONLY lost this" or "I ONLY" that. YOU are kicking major ass and YOU are amazing. Don't compare yourselves to someone else who posted. Celebrate their achievements and then celebrate your own, no matter how small they may seem at the time.
