Question

I just received my order of new products and one of my favorites is the sweet chili Dorado's. I don't know if they changed their formula but these are not like the normal ones I've had in the past. The color is different, the texture is different and definitely the taste is different. Sweet chili Dorado's are my favorite and I don't like these. Anybody know if ideal protein has been changing things? Anybody else notice a difference?

I’m in Canada and work where we sell ideal protein. I sat in on a meeting but am not a coach as of yet. We were told that they were changing the formulation of some products and rolling out some new ones this spring. I’m not sure if that one was on the list though, she didn’t seem to know which ones were changing.

@favored I really wish we could be advised when something like that happens. Now I have 2 boxes of food that I do not like the taste of, what a waste of money. Thanks for the info

I noticed with my fav, the nacho cheese. They’re totally different, I still like them but they were better before

Yes they used to be more like doritos, now they have a weird texture and desolve like sawdust w no crunch. Like they got soggy somehow then dried out. I gave up on them, quality going downhill. I might as well buy the quest chips, taste just as bad but more crunch and a 1/4 of the price.

I love the Loaded Taco Quest chips. To me, they taste like the original Taco Doritos.

How do the quest chips compare to IP products? Are they nutritionally close? Just wondering in case I can't keep getting food from my clinic. So far we have been lucky but, on top of quarantine, our coach moved to a new job! The office is still selling product and says they will hire a new coach when everything settles down.

I used to be obsessed with the nacho Cheese Doridas but now new box and they are NOT nearly as good as before. Weird texture and not much flavouring. :(

I just had chili Dorados today and some of the chips in the bag tasted burnt. I’ve never had this issue before
