Any mommas here recently deliver at Hinsdale hospital? Wondering what your experience was with everything going on.

I have a friend who just delivered there this week. Partner allowed in after moms result of Covid test are confirmed negative (rapid test). No other visitors. If partner leaves, they can’t come back so pack a bag for them.

@yodel How long for the rapid test results? Like immediately?

2 hours and your partner needs to wait in the car until your results come in. Everyone coming in is being triaged/screened first.

I delivered there 3. 5 years ago, and will never deliver at any other hospital! I now live an hour away from there, and still plan to deliver there whenever I have another baby.

Just realized you said with everything going on. I can’t attest to that but Hinsdale Hospital gets 5 stars from me!

@buchheim it definitely does! I had my daughter there two years ago- and also will never deliver anywhere else!
