Question

Hello, My Ring Stick Up Camera went offline today and cannot get it back online, as I cannot get it to join the WiFi Ring setup network (at home). Anyone experienced this before, any tips to get it find / join that network? Thanks

I had a similar problem recently. When I followed the prompts within the app, I could not get the stick up cam to connect. What worked for me, was to press the set up button on the stick up cam first, then go to my Wi-Fi settings locate and connect to that stick up cam and only then did I go to the Ring app to add the product.

@judaica Yeah, I have had to do similar in the past. I don’t think I have ever manage to connect it as designed, but more a manual workaround!

Factory reset it by holding the reset button 35 seconds, then add it to the app again.

Might not be either in your case, but this has happened to me a couple of times. The first time, it appeared that my phone network switching from 'poor' wifi to data at just the wrong time was causing the issue (despite it appearing that the camera couldn't register with Ring) - disabling it worked. The second time, I never did work out what the issue was - I just kept trying. Eventually the device registered/was connected, even though it said it had failed!

Something similar happened to me recently. Called Ring, they walked me through a few steps and it was determined that it was a software issue. I have the protection plan, they sent a new one

Turn off Bluetooth, cellular data and WiFi assist on your phone and see if you can connect @gurias442 then you can reconnect afterwards

Just had this issue. Had to delete and turn off everything except wifi on my phone then add it. Just put one up today
