Nope, Amazon wont allow the FireStick or FireTV to play things like Ring Cameras. And Ring doesnt work with SmartThings despite them saying it does so you can only control the lights and get motion events. Cant see video. Getting Ring working on another device is a nightmare.

@eucharist that's not true. Ring cameras can display on Firestick. I have it set up on mine.

My fire tv works with ring. I don’t have it set up to notify me but I can ask to see my cameras from Alexa and she displays the feed through the fire tv

@eucharist You should call someone that is local to you that knows how to setup your ring Ring works quite fine in Canada

I have it working but it’s annoying at times. I sometimes watch tv in the late evening and those neighborhood cats keep triggering my floodlight and the notifications pop up during my show

@diathermic We get cats triggering our Ring Flood Light Cam every night. However, a vehicle pulling into our driveway at night doesn't trigger it. It must detect infrared light only at nighttime.

What do you need to know? You have to have a compatible TV which supports SmartThings.
