Yes. I did have to make a small wooden shim to have it sit flat as the storm door frame overlaps. I also used a wedge that came with the kit.

the Ring pro is not as wide as the other doorbells. I had to return the one I got and buy the pro because my door frame is narrow

contact Ring about their upgrade program. some people have posted in here how they talked to Ring and were able to pay a fee to upgrade from a RVD1 or 2 to a pro.
