I will opine that wired with a higher monthly will be a poor choice vs. wireless. I said "wireless" and not "Ring" because you want to know wired vs. wireless which Ring just happens to be . kinda. so, Ring wireless alarm sensors have worked just great for me. I have a bunch for about a year and batteries still read full, even on the constantly used entry, balcony doors, and living room motion sensor. you see I said "battery, " that's because wireless means both communication to your system and the power to do it. this means you can add and move at will. the next sensor doesn't need another wire run, and that's a big deal. only worth it if power and communication both work well, and with Ring sensors it does
