I agree with @nguyen and Jake. Best and Free dont go together. And no ones gonna be able to dig like you can if you just teach yourself. SEO is trivial if you have a budget and common sense.

If you use a bunch of free tools you can put together a free analysis, maybe an audit if you have a lot of time on your hands.  A proper SEO Audit takes manual hours. Tools help and in the audit there should be a solid plan to create content based on keyword research and competitor content.

Guys, the question was about best free tools. Not the best ever. This means that if there are several free tools, some are better than others and (maybe) one of them is the best. That was the question. And some help instead of irony could surely be highly appreciated

You can do a pretty efficient free audit with the following items - all are free. GSC GA Adwords account Xenu A Google Custom Search Engine instance Excel/Sheets Common sense This can be greatly improved upon of course with additional paid for data, but the question was about being free. I promise you this is possible - figure out how to do it and it will make you a more knowledgeable SEO
