Hey guys.  I’m still using the classic app as the new one still isn’t up to scratch.Hey guys. I’m still using the classic app as the new one still isn’t up to scratch. I’ve got a couple of smart apps that turn my bedroom light via motion on but only when it’s in “home” mode. When I go to sleep I set it to night and when I wake up it’s supposed to go into morning mode. Both of these should mean the bedroom light should not respond however for some reason the app says it in home mode. Can I find out what’s triggering it to switch to that as I don’t think I have any routines/smartapps that will do it?

You should be able to look in the logs in the IDE to see this. I had my house set in a similar way with day, evening and night modes. I've swapped to WebCoRE now though but mine all worked perfectly while I was using the app

And how are you setting the mode? I use virtual switches rather than changing it manually

Are the changes to 'night' and 'morning' actually happening? Have you discovered when the 'home' mode change happens? How is it supposed to get into 'home' mode? I don't have the Classic app installed anymore, so I find the IDE quite useful for seeing a list of changes. (My Locations > Events > From Location > LOCATION_MODE_CHANGE).
