Going to Spain in August. Benidorm to be precise. Wondering if anyone knows of an insurance company that will insure us in case we have ‘disinclination’ to travel? What I mean is, does anyone know of an insurance company who will cover us if the coronavirus spreads & we have booked knowing there were a couple of cases in Spain & it turns into a major thing? My family booked months ago, however didn’t think about it and booked for my husbands uncle, wife & nephew/grandad to come, and they’re worried they won’t get money back if we have to cancel due to it growing?

It was in paper today, most won't cover you unless the FCA put a ban on traveling there. Even if they say not. to travel unless essential they won't cover for cancellations as it's natural xx

I'm going Benidorm May i'm a bit concerned hopefully its ok by then i dont know if my insurance will cover think i may call them monday

Having the same thoughts for our holiday to malaga in September. Worried about it spreading & then losing out on the money we've paid ‍♀️ currently just sticking to the plan and hoping for the best

Insurance companies are only likely to refund if the government puts a travel ban in place but not if you simply decide you don’t want to go

We cancelled our holiday yesterday due to this. All we lost was the deposit

I'm just back from Benidorm yesterday. There was no concerns over the CoronaVirus in Benidorm. The Spanish CoronaVirus cases are mainly in the Canary Island of Tennerife and 1 isolated case of an Italian woman returning home to Barcelona after 10 days in Italy. As we speak there are 20 confirmed cases in the UK. As much as I appreciate your concern I think we need to put things into perspective.
