I have started tracking every single thing I eat, but I am feeling discouraged about this. Does anyone ever go over their allotted weekly point amounts plus their daily points? I feel like by Sunday I’ll have no weeklies left.

I am on and only get 16 daily points, but 300 free foods. Yes I go over, but am aware and work with it the best I can. I am a lifer, and yes it is hard somedays, but I just imagine what I would do without WW and that makes it easier.

Yep. It happens. Look back and see where you are racking up the points and work on replacing those points with zero point foods.

Today I'm sitting at -27 weeklies left (I reset on Wed) and I've used all of my fit points also (56). I've had weeks where I'm at -70 points for my weeklies & fit points and then had a loss. Don't stress about it, you're human. That's also part of the journey - self-care, talk to yourself as if you were 5 and get out of the mindset that you were "BAD" (we've all been down that slippery slope). Your next meal is your next opportunity to do better. Maybe try planning your week out if you can - at least plan dinner if that's your heavy point hit and build onto your remaining points and zero point foods from there. See where you're using all of your points and if you're watching portion control. If you aren't using your fit points, you might consider using them if you need to. You can switch them off and on in the app settings. Or you can use those first before your weeklies. Sometimes I like to play that little mind game with myself to change it up a little;) It also depends on your weekly start date. If Sunday is your last day before weigh-in, you're probably fine. But if Sunday is mid-way through your week, you might want to go back and see what you can change going forward.

Heather, I have had 2-3 weeks of going way over all my points. My weigh in day is Friday, but I weighed today and see that it has all caught up to me and I am up 5 pounds. Hard to be mad at the scale. I identified with your post and felt the need to reply. Sorry for the long post. Need to break the sugar/carb cycle again. Still down about 40 pounds.

@weekly Thanks for the post! I've done both Freestyle and Purple plan and very slow progress. I lost last week, but I have not been following the plan as I should the last few days and that has put me waaaaayyyy over this week - old habits ;) . hoping for a +/- 0 tomorrow on the scale and back to a better mindset going forward to get myself back on track! Good luck to you!

I have points left over everyday. I eat an oatmeal recipe I got from dashing dish it has protein powder and apples etc in it. I have avocado toast 2 pieces for lunch plus 2 whites of a boiled egg and tonight I’ll have turkey chili for dinner. And all my snacks are zero points. I have a banana, grapes, pear, grape tomatoes and strawberries daily. And I end with anywhere from 12-2 points left over depending on what I have for dinner. Today I’ll have 9 points left over

Yes. Definitely. This is a lifetime journey. Just get back on track. Loosing weight is not a linear thing. There are ups and downs, but eventually the weight is lower. Be kind to yourself, eat more 0 point foods when this happens. You can do this. I’m 71 couldn’t exercise ate weeklies and occasionally “blew it” but I’m down 56 pounds in 11 months!

It happens. Exercise is so important if you are able.
by (670 points)
@knucklebone I was told you cannot.
by (22k points)
@ransdell Did someone tell you not to exercise?
by (670 points)
@hognut96 my comment was not meant for this post. Sorry. I was told you cannot earn additional food points because you've exercised.
by (22k points)
@ransdell You get fit points if you track your exercise. Personally I don't use them. I exercise to lose weight, be healthy, and stay toned, not so I can eat more. I am on blue plan, I have a hard time eating all my points, usually leave 5-7 a day. I build my meals around 0 point foods. We are all different. Do what works for you

@hognut96 agreed! :-)

Remember activity points also only when you really need them.

Good for you in analyzing your eating behavior. Now can you identify any changes you can make?

No. I have used weeklies only one time so far. I'm in my fourth week.

I do. But tracking everything helps me see what I ate and decide what I could have changed to stay within my points. Hang in there! We can do this!

Rarely go over weekly. I skip breakfast, don’t snack after dinner and rely on those 0 pt foods to give me more options.

The only answer I have found is to find more 0 point foods.

Doing same. I do purple.

Yes, but it helps to see where you can either eat a smaller portion, skip something high in points, or find a lower or zero point substitute. For me, this is about changing not so healthy habits and creating new healthier habits ♥️

You're not kidding! When I go to mtgs I often hear someone's way of doing something for their success. And I think what a great idea, that being said-ask me if I do them. Sometimes, but sometimes 1 makes a change. Blessings
