I have this thing about needing to get food EVERY TIME I’m in a car. It’s like a bad habit I can’t kick. Get in a car, hit a drive thru. It’s awful. Doesn’t matter what time of day. Car=Food. Does anyone else struggle with this? How can I kick it? HELPPPPP

Maybe put some ww snacks in your car. this way you can have a low point snack. or stash veggies or cheese sticks in your purse. buy a few of the ww chicken sticks or some turkey jerky to keep in car. Or perhaps try to cut down slowly on car snacks . maybe no car snack Sunday . Good luck.

Find healthy things you enjoy and take them with you in your car. You can eat a whole avocado and come out ahead of what you can get in drive thru.

OMG! I thought I was the only one! I used to get a bag if Funions and a Mountain Dew every night on my way home from work, which obviously added to my need for WW. Now I have a travel mug of ice water and fruit. If I don't have fruit, I have sugar free Werthers caramel and chocolate hard candy. 2 peices get me home!

Yes, I agree. Leave your purse in the trunk. I pack grapes for my rides as I know I have an issue with it as well.

Sprinkle an essential oil you like in car, listen to music, bring your own food and drink, keep rice cakes or other crunchy snack in car, tell yourself there is nothing you need from those places and they have no control over you!

I am so happy to hear that I’m not alone about fast food. Yep every time I am behind the wheel I have to stop and get something. I love burgers , no matter where they come from. I have to have my cup always full of Diet Coke. I will think of you @

next time I stop at McDonalds. I’m sure it will be tomorrow.

Drive different routes passing as few ff places as possible. And remember, most of that stuff is crap--God only knows what is in it--and you will feel like crap after eating it.

What I found was the “cure” for me was to decide which charity was working for a cause I was grateful not to need for myself, then when the urge to go and buy something to eat when I was not truly needing it, was to put the money I would have spent into a box that was with me, to send to that charity. It was very hard and I failed a few times but it worked! Because I did it from a thankful attitude it was less painful and gave me a mood boost

It's a hard habit to break but you can do it. Why not start one day at a time. Tell yourself that just for today you won't do it and see how you do. If it works try it again the next day. Before you know it you 'll break that habit. You can do it!

The key to any weight loss, lifestyle, body composition, or mindset change comes down to one thing And in this post, I'm going to take a deep dive into exactly what that one thing is, and how it is the ONLY mechanism that matters when working to make a change in any direction That key being?
