So incredibly discouraged .  I started the green plan 3 weeks ago.So incredibly discouraged . I started the green plan 3 weeks ago. Ever since I have been following the green plan exactly how it should be followed. I eat my thirty points a day , don’t touch my weeklies and the scale is not moving at all . What am I doing wrong ? Nothing is a worse feeling then doing all that you can do and not seeing a change . I’m ready to give up

by (450 points)
@oligarchy I may switch I feel like when I took the quiz Freeb was best for me
by (460 points)
I just did the quiz and it made me do green. But I had blue before and idk if I like green at all. I liked the blue and free meats and beans and such. Idk yet. It's only been a week but I'm not thrilled yet

I did good on blue. It was slow but it was happening.

Maybe you’re under eating. Use your weeklies. They are there for a reason
by (450 points)
@injury5907 how many extra would you use ?
by (420 points)
@hittite I use alll of my weeklies and fit points. I save them up for the weekend so I can splurge

Maybe you need to some. of your weeklies. Are you also working out if so you are also earning activity points that could be used for food.

That happened to me. One person at the meeting said to take body measurements. Not all successes show on scale.

This may sound crazy and will take a couple of weeks but a few things. 1. Weigh and measure everything if you arn't. 2. Eat some weekly points. When I first started I took a couple of weeks and ate just my daily points almost no loss, a couple of weeks and ate 1/2 of my weekly points kind of spread out during the week about 2. 5 to 3 lbs loss, then a couple of weeks of eating all my daily and all my weekly. Gained a 1/2 a lb. Kind of discover the amount that works best for your body. 3. Remember it's not going to be big losses and that's ok a few tenths a week may be slow but it's loss and will build up.

Yes, your weeklies! Use them! Also, I am not drinking enough water. Weighed in yesterday. UP 3 LBS. Realized I couldnt remember drinking water beyond taking my meds for two days. (Drank coffee, then wine. Within points! ) But I've been eating saltier foods I think too. Drank just 24 ounces with, and this morning down a pound. Goal is to drink at least 36 today. I am not crazy about drinking water, flavored or otherwise. My grandma was the same way.

Maybe not the best plan for you? Or wait it out for six weeks to see if you drop. This is a journey and for some of us it will be long

If you're using canned items like beans or veggies, check the ingredients. If there's added sugar, you need to count points. "Natural" peanut (or other nut) butter (the kind you have to stir) is made of peanuts and salt. Other peanut butters have added sugar, oil, etc. Play around with what you're eating; measure and weigh stuff; read ingredient labels on everything. Be sure to include healthy fats in your daily diet.

Try a different option! Do your clothes feel more loose? You may be losing fat and not seeing the scale move.

Do you think it’s water retention?

Don’t give up.

I have barely lost any weight after losing 100 lbs over most of 2018-2019. Someone took a pic of me the other day and my dress was hanging on my haha

Evaluate what your eating not just the points. Everything needs eaten in moderation. For example, I'm on the blue plan and it has an egg at 0 pts. That doesn't mean I should eat half a dozen eggs.

I did the same thing. It was not the points that hurt me. I tracked the calories and found I was eating over 3000 calories a day. I need to have only 2500 calories a day to maintain my weight. So, you have to watch the free high calorie food items even if they are zero calories. Example bananas are 105 calories.

I totally agree. I also know that I can't eat a lot of high carb foods even if they fit into my plan. I would eat my points in pizza, chips, junk food if I could, lol.

Have you tried the Wendie Program?
by (450 points)
@wormwood no what is that ?
by (520 points)
@hittite oops. It’s actually the Wendies Plan. it’s a way to use your points to jar you our of a plateau.
https://www.wendie-plan.com/about.html
by (460 points)
@wormwood so adding daily plus weekly is 58. You eat 58 points in a day?
by (520 points)
@vaud4 58 points in one day doesn’t sound quite right but I don’t know because I didn’t run your numbers. Here’s what mine looks like for the green program.
by (120 points)
@wormwood like everyone says stick with it it will work
by (460 points)
@wormwood please explain Wendie program

Me too! I have 40 pounds to lose I’m on the green plan I can’t Lose . I’m thinking even if you stay in your point range it depends on the food you’re eating I had five slices of whole grain bread 70 cal each it ended up being 10 points the rest of the day I think I had chicken some tuna in a ton of fruit and vegetables but I’m staying in the 30 points but I don’t lose

Can I ask why you’re not touching our weekly points? They’re part of the plan, they’re factored into you daily points. It sounds like you’re having a tough time, hope it improves for you!

I am so discouraged I’m actually gaining weight on the green plan I stay within my points I’ll admit I had four slices of low calorie bread but I counted it I thought as long as you’re counting what you’re eating and you stay at your 30 points a day you’ll be fine but nope obviously my body is stubborn it’s probably too many carbs I’m just so discouraged
by (420 points)
@sesquiplane maybe too many fruits? Those can be sneaky trickers.
by (790 points)
@injury5907 I had one banana yesterday
by (460 points)
@sesquiplane I suggest experimenting within the point range. Switch up the selections. I found eating nut  butters even within my point range halted loss.
