The slow loss is really hard for me. But I reminded myself today that I didn’t have much for unhealthy habits to change that would cause drastic results. And I didn’t get here in a short period of time. I’ve been around 200-215 lbs for like 6 years. And 180-200 for a decade before that. I’m just desperate for my body to feel less achy and sore and losing weight has to help. Right? I’m hoping so. I’m trying to focus less on the scale and the changes (or lack there of) and instead continue with consistently healthy choices. My mindset shifts now.
The slow loss is really hard for me.

Honestly that sounds like something your eatting even if you think it’s healthy your body doesn’t like. I did a sensitivity test and found out almost all I was eating that is concerned healthy was not for my body like almonds eggs chicken my body is sensitive to it so it cause inflammation in my joints

@covering5738 Where do you do a test like that? Do regular doctors do sensitivity testing?

@chondriosome54032 you can get it thru your doctor but we used everlywell

What makes you think it’s a sensitivity? What suggests that? Thanks for the insight

@hydrops the fact you say your achy that doesn’t usually happen at your weight as that is not that big. The achy makes me lean more to inflammation around your joints and that is most likely caused from your body reacting to something your eatting.

Hmm interesting perspective. 200 might not be that big but it is on a 5’1 body. but definitely worth looking into!

@covering5738 I was going to suggest the same. Reduce caffeine intake

Good for you! I made myself change focus, too. I have been looking on Tedtalk etc. For info on anything related to good health other than what is specifically in ww program. Very enlightening!

Keep your chin up. I have lost 39. 8 pounds and before that I couldn’t walk more than 50 steps because of a bulging disc in my back, now I walk between 2-3 miles. I can climb a flight of stairs and it doesn’t feel like I’m going to pass out. Baby steps. I wish we could just wish the weight away; but slow and steady wins the race

I was over 200 lbs when I recommitted to WW. Lost nearly 70 lbs. It took nine months, but I feel so much better not carrying around all of the extra weight. Start small. Stay focused. You will get there!
