My too. I started drinking water before every meal. Honestly, a half hour before and I'm full. If I get sugar craving I drink water. It's working. Like crazy working. I was a huge doubter but now it's a miracle

@freytag43868 thank you for the reminder to drink before meals and for sugar cravings. Mentally, I know its half your weight in water.

Are you a member of WW? Sometimes it helps to just do a reset. Pretend it's the first time and start from the beginning. Track everything, read your WW materials, attend meetings, etc. You already know you can do it this time.
by (400 points)
@wakeful is there a way to reset your ww numbers?
by (980 points)
I don't think so, but you can talk to a coach about it.

Do a cleanse to reset. It will take away the cravings, clean your system and help to redefine what you really need to eat rather that what you want. I’m starting a 14 day cleanse tomorrow.

Char Gadsden What do you recommend for body cleansing detoxification?
by (3.1k points)
@mandel Try Blue Print Juices. It’s a six day cleanse.

You should have never stoped eating right. It’s not a temporary thing but a life commitment
by (400 points)
@hollyanne4960 I understand that but sometimes something in your life happens and you fall back into stress eating or depression. I'm looking for ideas and thoughts for help.

@freytag43868 I've been there, and am there again. trying hard, , but can't get motivated. But gonna try again . we can do it .

@freytag43868 your right, life does happen, were not all perfect, the fact your asking for help is a huge step. Good for you, I applaud you. My son left for the military few years back, fell in a deep depression, all my good eating habits and exercise routine down the drain. Gained 30 lbs since. Now that I'mback on my feet, I went through my clothes I had put away, big mistake? Nop, not at all, it's actually motivating me and have dropped 10 lbs in the past month. Might not work for everyone, but it's an idea. Wishing you best of luck, and please, ignore non supportive comments such as @hollyanne4960's, some just dont seem to understand that people dont always have it easy in life, apparently such as her! Wishing you all the strength you need to get back on the horse!

@hollyanne4960 not cool!

Be kind to yourself and it will come
by (1.3k points)
@hollyanne4960 Well that sounds pretty punitive not supportive. You have no idea why she gained it back. I gained my way back after the hard work of losing it, because the doctor gave me the wrong dose of medication that made me gain weight. You took a while before I knew what was causing it. Being punitive to me generally has the opposite reaction anyway

@hollyanne4960 We’re here to support each other, not criticize or berate. STOP or maybe find a site better suited for YOU.

@tuque434 I have been there and I am there again too. Life happens. It is a journey. Let’s all stay on the path. We know it works. Beginners mind. Remember how excited we were when we first started? How good we felt? Let’s focus on that!

First. excuse yourself and make the firm decision that you are going to track and watch what you eat. Make it a mealby meal or day by day process. Once you get used to tracking, it gets a lot easier and fun. Give yourself credit for your efforts and excuse your faux pas.
by (1.2k points)
@chiller tracking. meal by meal. I carry post it notes and use them for a quick write.
by (590 points)
@crouse Perfect. I just used my cell phone and put the food in after I was done. Do what works for you. You got this!

I had to visualize my goal weight. Plan it out on a calendar. I started in Feb and should be to goal by July losing 1 pound a week. When I think about having high calorie foods I think about it prolonging reaching my goal. I also track everything I eat. It's the only thing that works for me. Hope that helps:)

You can eat whatever you want. And at the same time, think about what is does to your body. Think about the Happiness you feel when loosing weight, being fit, be full of joy with friends and family. What nutritons your body doesn’t get at this point, and what it does deserve. Be thankful for your body, where it took you already. So no restrictions, just awareness. There are a few things that can give you a boost, among which: - walking outside (fresh air and nature) - music (motivation & distraction) - extra nutrients (breakfastshake f. e., i know a good one you may contact me if you’d like) - achievable steps (slow is good! Compliment yourself for every small change) - meditation (in general, but you also have special weight loss meditation on youtube) - hobbies (excitement & distraction)

Hi, I lost 17 lbs in the last month with the myfitnesspal you still eat what you want but keep track of what eating and amount. Start buying some things I like but with less calories. Is only discipline, and you can do it.

I thought I could do it on my own after I lost 25 lbs. Then the holidays, then the quarantine, then the lack of exercise. Its always something. I have come to the realization that I need the app at all times. Tracking is my only way to stay on track and to stay accountable. I have only myself to blame for gaining some back. I am with you. today is a new day to recharge the brain into getting re motivated. Good luck!
