Get an extended warranty, I purchased my dodge van new and I've used the extended warranty a ton of times. Look on kbb. com to get a price for trade in on that van then offer the dealership that amount. Then you will go back and forth at 500 at a time till you reach a point they will not go any lower. Try to get extras added in like free oil changes or all weather mats. Regardless you need wether tech mats with kids in a van. My carpet looks new and its 6 years old.

#1 piece of advice from me would be to NOT spend $22k #2 don't buy something brand new because cars/vans depreciate pretty much immediately #3 rather than look at how high of a loan you can get, look at how much you can afford per month. For example, when we did a car loan last (we are debt free now) I called our credit union and asked them what would my loan be with a monthly payment of $275. (For us that was $15, 000 with a low 1. 75% interest. )

Personally I prefer going through the actual dealer instead of those ma and pa places. At dealerships the cars go through inspection and ask to see the work that was done AND the work that they didn’t do so you know what you’re getting into. Depending on price maybe you can get a certified one. ALWAYS buy an extended warranty!

Pick a dealership that displays their prices, do not buy from one that doesn’t. (Online or on the vehicle) I work at a dealership, Pacifica’s are great! What trim level are you looking at?

The interest rate the offer in the beginning is not what you have to stick to. I was quoted over 4% initially and I really wanted that car but I said not unless it’s under 2% I’m not buying and I left to only get a call when I got home that they found a bank who will finance it for 1. 9% also don’t buy any extra warranties if you don’t have to.

Go in pre approved from a credit union. Do not take their financing. Do you have USAA or another type of military affiliation? Dealerships cannot beat their rates. Know your payment and stick to it. Do not budge 1 dollar. Get ready to walk out. Shop around sleep on it no impulse buys. You guys got this!

Negotiate! Even if a dealership won’t lower price have them add in oil changes and/or extended warranty.

Thank you guys! I got mine pre approved from my credit union so I’m going on there knowing what I can and can’t do. I will hopefully not spend that much but for the Chrysler we are looking at is a pretty decent deal honestly!

Oh man that was intense  I got out of there loved the van so much! I talked them down 1500 from the asking price! But told them I am going to go home and sleep on it and will come back in on Monday!

Know your price Know your product and what it's worth Know that you are willing to pay Be willing to walk away there's more than one dealership. Don't disclose how much you have to spend.

The Pacifica is really nice! We just rented it on vacation in December! Look for a nice used Pacifica van with low miles!
