that stuff popped through from next door so we just ask them to pull it out from their side especially where we have the pond and can't really reach lol. Horse tail literally is all over our garden it's an annual battle with it

Cheer up although you view it has a weed horsetails were growing 270 million years ago in the carbonferious era when dinosaurs walked on Earth. What you have is a unique survivor but the plant is also supposed to be benificial to human health. So next time your digging away just think of all that history you hold in your hands one of nature's remarkable creations . Incidentally dig deep because the rhizomes of this plant grow seven feet deep into the ground. Ah well. ! Happy digging.

Ragwort is the problem here thankfully the last couple of years there's been a lot of cinnibar moth caterpillars so they've dealt with it
