Tips on camellias, husband bought me a beautiful "april rose" variety for easter. We've planted it in a spot that's shaded for much of the day, has well drained soil and I've fed it straight away. It has tons of flowers buds already but the opened heads are already dying off. Do i deadhead these the same as i would any other plant? How often should I water as I've read some places say everyday some twice a week. Any help would be great as he paid quite a bit for it and i don't want it to die

Need to be watered well in the Autumn to make sure buds open and do not drop off.
