Work in progress!  My back hurts  Need to finish off the edges with the stencil, any tips for the edges?!Work in progress! My back hurts  Need to finish off the edges with the stencil, any tips for the edges?! *EDIT: Paint is dulux masonry paint in two different shades of grey. Have bought screwfix sealant to seal afterwards. Stencil was from Ebay by searching "patio tile stencil" and I asked the seller to custom make to the size of our slabs x

by (890 points)
@freebooter my thought exactly! When I did the first few I was so disappointed because it had bled and smudged. But once looked at a whole piece you dont notice and gives it a rustic look lol xx

Would this come off if you jet washed it though ? x
by (790 points)
@plotter that would depend what paint you used and how often you would jetwash it
by (890 points)
We jet washed it today before we stenciled (so just the grey masonry underneath) and a few teeny pieces came off (you couldnt tell unless really looking) I was very surprised! We have bought patio sealant though to protect it x
by (1.9k points)

Use a cheaper laminating plastic to create the clones you need for your borders. It's a bit tedious, but at least you wouldn't be cutting up your original stencil.
