Good morning all or good afternoon were ever you are  I would like an advise I are turfed the garden last year in March , but as you can see , now near the shed and under the tree is all dead . Why is that ? Are the tree roots the problem or maybe the shade ? What I should do next ? Thank you if you can help Have a great day

I should think both reasons. You could try reseeding with a seed for shade, but I suspect you will never get a decent lawn there. Maybe think about putting a hard surface down instead?
