Yes. ABSOLUTELY. I'm an ICU RN and a few weeks ago my anxiety level would increase throughout the day as I learned more about the pandemic to the point I was almost having panic attacks watching the news. I reverted to old coping stress mechanisms of carbing out, shoving carbs and sweets in my mouth, not even hungry, and even drank a few times. I've been meeting with my coach remotely for support. Week 2 I decided instead of watching the news, to begin doing BB video workouts and tried to get back on protocol. It's week 3 now, I finally got on the scale and it indicated I was 4 lbs up, which has really motivated me to get back on protocol. But more importantly I need to be as healthy as possible during this crisis and decrease the inflammation in my body caused by eating sugar, plus the additional stress, which will help my immune system. We're all in this together.
