Is there any way to stop waking up hungry in the middle of my sleep? I work nights and do all my food/water/packets overnight and am in bed around 7:30 am but have been waking up starving around 10 am. I try to eat my last packet as late as I can but still wake up from a dead sleep hungry.

Ghrelin hormone (hunger) spikes 3 times during the day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. You just need to outlast it - it will eventually go away as insulin sensitivity improves and leptin is improved. This is hormonal so best thing is time for fixing insulin. It’s not protocol but fastest way is fasting as that improves insulin the fastest. If interested more in the hormones, watch videos from Dr. Jason Fung.
