I’m in the middle of having a lot of GI issues and have noticed I’m severely bloated after I eat some of these foods. Did anyone else have this issue? I may have an intolerance to something in the foods I’m not sure yet but I’m set to see the GI specialist this week.

Many contribute it to the sugars used. A prebiotic might help. I am lactose intolerant and have to watch for that as well as they use milk protien in their ingredients. Also red dye gives me migraines; which is in the chili. So far I have been okay as long as I dont overdue it on certain foods.

@lounging6 I’m at a loss because this didn’t happen to me the last time I was on this. my doctor thought it was just my gallbladder acting up but I got that checked and nothing. I’ll look into what packets I have been eating that have milk ingredients and try to switch that up. Hopefully that will help

@lumper7051 same! I did the program in 2016 and the packs were completely different.

I cannot eat anything with the ingredient - fructooligosacharides which is in most of the bars. its gives me huge discomfort and horrible uncomfortable gas. I know it is in the new caramel crisps as well. I can't even eat 1! :( really narrows it down, I am slowly moving away from the program because of it

@suppurate560 wow! I just had those this morning!

@lumper7051 if you are having the stomach issue today, most likely that is what is causing it :(

@suppurate560 I’ve had this stomach issue for a while, I came back to the diet thinking it would help but so far, it’s just progressing. I did really well the last time I was on it

Soy for me. These packets are filled with so many chemical or processed derivatives. You will have to work to narrow down what causes it. I exclusively only have the drinks now.

I didn't have any problems when I first did the program in 2017. I did a reboot earlier this year and had stomach aches and other GI issues (i. e., I was in the bathroom a lot). I know that sugar alcohols give me problems but things that didn't upset my stomach before really bother me now. I discontinued it to see what would happen, and after a couple of days, my stomach felt 100% better.

I found it was more the veggies 2 cups of broc or cauliflower were causing more issues if ate all at once so I snacked throughout the whole day on my 4 cups.

I had a lot of problems. IP offers a pill called flora health and it helped a lot. I also was eating mostly cauliflower and broc as well. but it helped with all of that.

Do you have a soy allergy? I know some folks have recently mentioned feeling a little gassy after the salted caramel clusters and my coach thinks it could be the higher fiber content after we looked at the label today.

@lett3 I get painfully bloated and gassy after everything I eat but I looked at the label most of the things I have contain wheat and soy so I’m thinking that could possibly be it but I have an appointment with a Gastro specialist so I guess we’ll see

I had major noises in my stomach. Sounded like rumbles. Not really bloating but aches, like a headache achy. I just switched up some of the products & tried to see what caused it. I got away from the ready made drinks & that helped the ache but noise remained.
