So my husband and I both love Subway chopped salads. We get Subway club that is turkey, roast beef and ham I double the meet so I get about 4ozes. My hubby does a copy cat of one of thes from home including, jalopinos chopped, Italian pepper rings and oregano and black pepper. I use both lettus and spinach in the base. Add cucumber and chopped red bell pepper oh and lots of purple onions. Dressing is 1t. of EVO and Jon uses vinegar from hot pepper jar. I can’t do that much sodium so I use red wine vinegar, or white wine vinegar. We eat about 6c in lettuce and spinach. 1/2 c cucumber; 1/2 c red bell pepper, 1/2 onion and 2 or 3, 4 Ounces meet. Or veggie if you are saving your protein but remember protein tells your body you aren’t hungry so try to use some. I also love the tuna packs with lemon and black pepper 2oz. Tast great and low cal.

@gravitative7 are you in phase 1? Phase 1 is a packet of protein. Dinner is 4-6 ounces of lean meat.

@demarcation yes I’m phase 1. And you can have protein and veggies. As long as your total daily of protein dosent exceed 8oz you can eat as low as 4oz per day but that dosent work for me. I have lost 90 pounds since September 2, 2019.

Regarding packet you can eat those any time of day you want. You are advised when you begin that you have a packet at your meals. For me, I have to save one for overnight because I have insomnia.

Jon uses trail mix IP on his salads! Yummy. We have been married 32years and I had no idea he could do this sort of thing in the kitchen

@gravitative7 someone else in the group said i can’t have deli meat. I was getting boars head no sugar. I’m struggling to get my protein intake without it, so i switched it up and had the eggs for breakfast in my total oz protein needed

@scruffy you can have deli meat. Watch the added sugar. Stick with under 1g sugar. Like ham for example it almost had more thank 1g of sugar. Turkey is hit and miss. I try to stick with Boars Head All natural. But read the label and ask questions.

Food . chili , 1c sautéed green pepper n 1c mushrooms & add Ip chili and seasoning . it’s a decent amount or I grab IP chips ( dorados or garlic & herb) and a salad or I split my protein and have 1/2 lunch and 1/2 dinner or all at lunch none at dinner depending on schedule

Depends on the day. I like the trail mix on the salad as a crunch. Sometimes I wait and have it as an afternoon snack— I have a shake or a bar in that case. I also like the soups sometimes if it is cold and rainy.
