How do I measure/weigh my animal protein if it’s frozen?

8oz frozen is 6oz cooked i believe

Pretty sure it weighs the same.

A piece of protein doesn’t add mass when freezing. Thus frozen protein will weigh the same as raw. Now, after thawing a piece of frozen meat, it might weigh less due to water leaking from the thawed tissues.
