I know this has probably been asked before. but couldn’t find it in search. When you go on vacation and you want to take yourself out of ketosis ( cause you want to have a glass of wine or two or three lol ) Do you not buy your IP food supplies that week and eat as clean as possible during the week? Of course hotel has no microwave, refrigerator etc. Thanks for any suggestions or tips!

My coach had me go down to 1 IP a day and just eat as green as possible. getting in the protein. I had wine or drinks almost every day, but limited it to 1. Maybe 2. drank my water still. only gained 1 lb., went right back to protocol. had no issues.

You need to phase off the program in order to drink alcohol safely. You need carbs with alcohol. Your coach should be able to assist you with a quick phase off. You need to give your body several days out of ketosis before you drink alcohol.

@distend6 I would suggest you start to phase off at least a week before your trip. Have fun and be careful! Alcohol can sneak up on us after being on IP.

I travel for work all the time and many hotels will give you a microwave to use. It's not worth the cheat.

I’m going on an all-inclusive vacation which I do with the same group of friends every year. So I’m hoping my coach will advise me on this too. We leave a week from tomorrow.

Eat a meal replacement bar for lunch. Eggs for breakfast. Try to drink things like vodka soda or gin. But not too many. And yes eat clean

We are in the middle of college tours and head out of town quite a bit. Instead of a hotel we rent air bnb's so that I can cook and stay on the meal plan
