Hey, when is it safe/okay to start adding back in exercise? I am almost 4 weeks in and would like to start doing more now that I have more energy.

This is where you need to talk to your coach. This is a cases by case basis. Your coach should know you and your abilities and guide or coach you as to what you can and can’t do.

At my clinic it was always 2-4 weeks and depending on your energy level and what you were doing before

I was told it is okay but I must drink the amino acids pack before hand (and I do). My experience is, I began IP July 3rd and started off light. Walking, adult ballet classes and have added more. My current week is 1 ballet class, 1 pilates class, zumba class twice a week and sometimes some weight training. I have not plateaued or have had any stalls. I have consistently lost lbs and/or inches every week. I also think everyone will respond differently so see how you do but so make sure to get those amino acid drink packets.

I was told to listen to your body by my coach,  if you cant hold a full conversation your working out to hard for phase 1

I walk on the treadmill, and do light biking. I make sure I have my branched chain amino acids before, and being my electrolyte water. I've been doing this for 16. 5 weeks, just started the exercising about 4 weeks ago.

The first time I did this the coach said no exercise. This time my coach asks me every week what I’m doing. She said I should be doing something - at least walking.

All depends on your energy levels. Listen to your body. If after a workout you feel dizzy adjust your workout. I go on the elliptical for a half hour and weights for a half hour. I know my limits. This week I didn’t have much energy so I didn’t go to the gym and still lost weight. All about balance. ☺️

My coach said it was ok since day one. I train 5 or more times a week. Bootcamp and CrossFit. Just respect your limits. Drink a lot.
