Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong please. During lock down O decided to try my hand at growing a few things (first time) I’ve got 3 tomato plants and 1 red pepper plant. They started to look a bit ‘ill’ so reported them into bigger deeper pots, they’ve rallied a bit but the edges on some of the leaves are a bit brown and withered. What have I done please? X

Take them inside. Too early to be out.

Perhaps they didn't get enough water about a week or ten days before the browning? Unless you've got them outside? If so, bring them in for another month. Tomatoes go out as strong plants, not as seedlings. They thrive in Spain, but have to be molly coddled in UK. If you're a beginner and growing tomatoes you're well. Leave them somewhere warm but not to frazzle being hot glass, and give them more time. Show us your tomatoes in September

@andes thank you they’re indoors but we did have them on the window sill, hot and sunny, we have moved them away from window now x

@word53647 I suspect they just got burnt then. Lots more leaves to come will take care of that.
