Are there any coaches or clients that know what the requirements are for phase 1 carbs/protein/fat in grams? I know to eat the sheet. It’s not my first rodeo. I struggle with keeping the weight off, so I thought I could try tracking it now so I’m more aware once I get closer to goal when every little bit counts. Plus, so I can do better once I hit maintenance. That’s where I fall off the horse. My coach is absolutely no help.

@filature35 I have them in a email from ideal protein. I'll get it tomorrow at work:) it could be different with the new protocol but they gave me numbers once haha

@filature35 For Phase 1, you should get approximately 95 grams protein, 49 g net carbs or under, 25 g of fat and 25 g of fiber. (from IP science center)

@titanium thanks! I’m definitely over in protein. So I’ll have to reduce my meat at suppertime. It’s great to have a guideline moving forward. I wonder why this info isn’t readily available for clients?

If you track what you eat in any of the food apps (most all have IP products), you'll get an idea of your macros, on average.

I suspect it's supposed to be what it is, when you follow the program. Certainly the macros will vary daily based on your choices of proteins and packets, this is why there aren't set macros.

If working with a coach they will guide you with stabilization and macros

In a typical day, I have approximately 20 grams net carbs, 50 grams fats and 100 grams of protein.

@henning I’m more like 15-22g of carbs, 125g of protein and 25g of fat. so I am not sure what the standard maximum is for phase 1.

Interesting! Well I guess I'll be following to hear what standard is. This is technically my first time on the program (other than in 2018 where I started and was on for like 3 weeks and then got pregnant ) so I have never made it to maintenance.

How does everyone get enough fiber? I’m only counting about 15g of fiber at the most!
