I've had a total hysterectomy and after getting into a big funk after it and putting on 30 pounds, am finally back to getting my mind right and am now losing it. I lost 115 lbs in 2014 on IP - back to it this time and the first week I lost over 11 lbs the first week and then 4 pounds the second week. My results in 2014 weren't that good. Only thing I did differently is that this time I made sure I did the Branched Chain Amino Acids like IP suggests for the first few weeks.

It is a supplement, in the form of a fruit flavored dink mix, added to water. Ask your coach about it, it helps the uptake of protein directly into the muscle.

I had one almost 2 years ago. Losing weight after was a bit more challenging, but still do-able! My major issue is that I eat when I'm tired! And since I wake up about 5 times a night sweating, I'm tired everyday!

I did. I’m on my third time. I can’t say if it was harder because I am also a senior citizen and am hypothyroid with Hashimotos, which both contribute to a lower metabolism.

Yep, and I lost weight just fine (70 lbs. ) I’m doing a tune up. You may have hormone issues that you don’t expect. Fat stores hormones. Losing weight releases them.

It's a battle either way. Battle to keep it off or battle being over weight. In finally choosing to battle with IP some keto and exercise. Full hysto 4 years ago. Hated the new no hormone life! You can do it.
