I recently found the Walden Farms pear flavored dressing - love it! I try to stick with the vinegar based dressings (Asian, Asian ginger, balsamic. I’m not a fan of their ranch.

I like the dijon vinaigrette in Janeva's cookbook. I add a T. of WF pancake syrup and it is like a honey-dijon. I don't really like any of the WF dressings, but I do like their syrup! I make the vinaigrette sometimes without the water and oil and it is a nice dip for jicama fries.

by (1.8k points)
@brume can you share the recipe please. Thanks.
by (6.1k points)
Oh and Worcestershire and minced garlic too for ranch
by (1.8k points)
@brume thank you! I’m definitely going to try it. I bought Walden Farms mayo and didn’t like it.
by (6.1k points)
Me either  it smelt and tasted like chemicals. I threw it out as soon as I opened it. I’m never going to eat store bought mayo again. It’s so good.
by (6.1k points)
And my boyfriend wants to eat my mayo and ranch instead of his store bought
by (6.1k points)
I used this recipe for the ranch minus the obvious buttermilk and sour cream. But you can just eye ball it, that’s what I do! But at least you have kind of an idea!

Here is what goes on my salad: black pepper, IP salt; oregano, basil. Sprinkle on jenerously. Add 9 Jared banana rings drained and diced. Sliced onions, cucumber, 2tolive oil light; 2T rice wine vinegar.
by (4.6k points)
@gravitative7 , rice wine vinegar has sugar.
by (9.2k points)
I use Nakaon natural rice vinegar and it has no added sugar. If you look on the nutrition label the sugar is 0.
by (9.2k points)
Mizkan rice natural is also a good rice wine vinegar that has no sugar added. Make sure you are not looking at the seasoned rice vinegar that you would use in say sushi as that does have sugar in it. If it labeled “natural” and you should be good.
