For the questions so far, I highly recommend you watch some videos from the low carb/keto community. A couple that I think have been so great to understand it’s not about calories if in ketosis is Dr. Ben Bikman from low carb Denver 2019 - ketosis: the Metabolic Advantage and Dr Ken Berry why counting calories doesn’t work. I don’t think enough education is provided in this protocol to truly explain a hormonal approach to fat loss vs the traditional, flawed calories in/calories out Model. Ben Bikman explains this so well in that video and Berry explains why the counts are so inaccurate anyways.

How do you keep it off? Mentally. I have done it 3 times and when I slip up long enough I end up heavier each time

How restricted is "life after"? I'm at 900 calories on a high day on plan but usually near 750-800 on average. I know I'll never be able to be a "normal" 2000 calories a day in post life, but how far below that are we talking?
