Question

My mashed turnips taste like poison. yuck! I added salt, pepper, and garlic and they were totally bitter. Any advice?

Add some stevia. It helps greatly.

I add a bit of IP maple syrup. Game changer.

Sorry, don’t mean to hit the laugh emoji but this post made me laugh. I’ve never had turnips so I can’t chime in but thanks for the laugh

I think turnips get bitter when they are older.

I just make them as fries in my air fryer or on parchment paper in oven. Season and mix in olive oul.

So good raw! Eat them every day! Much different flavor
