Has anyone else experienced some minor tongue irritation/swelling? If yes, have you figured out which products are causing the irritation? (I’m certain it is the IP Products). Strange but true

Yes! Within two weeks of starting IP it felt like I had phlegm stuck in my throat. That lasted 2-3 days and then it went away but the tip of my tongue hurt! I thought it was an illness and waited for it to go away. I thought it may have even been a canker sore. It deadened my taste buds and when I went to the dentist for my standard check up, my x-rays said I had bacteria in my mouth on my cheek. They told me if it bothered me to eat sour things. I kept waiting for the pain on my tongue to go away and eventually started eating some lemons. This whole thing started a month ago and my tongue feels fine now but I still don’t feel like my taste buds are back to where they used to be only because I take all of my real salt in the morning and just down it and it doesn’t seem to bother me as much as it did in the first two weeks before everything started.

As a nurse I will tell you that “tongue swelling” is neither normal nor something to be ignored until it gets worse ! Track what you’re using / you may have an unknown allergy. Keep some Benadryl on hand. And if it comes on suddenly call 911. Do NOT wait

Have you had allergy testing. I was having issues and found out I'm allergic to shrimp . I would get testing done because it could be anything! Allergy testing can be a simple blood test and you get results quickly!

Are you chewing cinnamon gum or drinking cinnamon tea? That was my problem.
