Today I am calling on my friends here to help me out. I am struggling with "eating the sheet" for more than 4 consecutive days. My 2 year Ideal Protein birthday is coming up in 35 days and I could use some encouraging testimonies here. How did you restart and stay "re-started"?

I cannot have anything in my house that is not protocol. Go through your food pantry and refrigerator and purge it all. Even if you have others in your home, now is the time that everyone needs to be supportive of you. Eating healthy is a great option for everyone. Then, PLAN. Planning and prepping are key. NEVER find yourself hungry with nothing protocol ready to grab. When I get hungry is when I am at my weakest. I keep little bags of jicama sticks in the refrigerator and just munch on a stick now and then to keep the hunger under control. I prepare a huge salad on Sunday loaded with lots of great stuff (purple onions, green onions, radishes, mixed color peppers, cucumbers, etc. ) and bag it up in quart ziploc bags. I pre-roast lots of veggies to heat up with whatever protein I cook for dinner. Once you see the pounds start to come off, you know you are in ketosis and this helps with motivation.

Ive been in maintenance for a few years but have also been struggling to get off 10 extra pounds I’ve put on over time. After the holidays, I was up another 5. I started realizing that I was truly struggling and my bad habits were having such a stronghold over me. I decided to call and make an appointment with my coach. When I started back, I asked her to not look back where I was last time I was in. I needed to start fresh and just keep looking forward. It was a good time since the plan has changed some, so the newness of it helped keep it from being so mundane. I also went back to the simplicity of the plan and incorporated things I did when I first started. Ive been keeping recipes simple, tracking my water, and choosing an unrestricted over a restricted packet. Now, with all that said, I go today for my first weigh in, so I’ll see if all those minor changes have had an effect.

@garnettgarnette26 always carry some fresh veggies or a non restricted snack - I love celery! Helps me when I crave crunchy foods that I cannot have!

Well. My husband needs shoulder surgery. It is next week. He is under my control for at least two weeks. This means EVERYTHING in the kitchen is also under my control. Temptations will be removed.

I’m also struggling! I met my goal & maintained until December. I went into holiday mode & said it’s only once a year . it won’t kill me. well I cannot seem to get back to eating the sheet. saying no & doing what I know will work! I did “eat the sheet “ for 1 week since January 1st & didn’t feel like it was working!? I’m not able to spend the $ anymore on the plan for 3 products a day . I’m not sure what to do!? I have 10 # to loose

@question have you looked into ideal protein alternative plan? I was also on ideal protein 2 and half years ago lost almost 50lbs and gained it all back. I have been on ideal protein alternative for 3 weeks now and am down 19lbs. And spending maybe 150 a month. I ate that much in icecream a month! Lol

@question - just eat the sheet but swap IP products for real protein. So instead of an IP packet at breakfast, have 2 eggs. Instead of an IP packet at lunch, have a few cubes of chicken. And instead of an IP packet at snack, have 2 extra cups of kale or broccoli which are high in veggie protein. It means a lot more prep but you’ll shred the weight fast. Trust me. I am not overweight (average girl trying to be a skinny girl again) and I burned 8. 4lbs on week 1 or my restart. A steady 3-4lbs after. Your 10lbs could be gone in 2 weeks. Lock it in. Stock up. Use your keto sticks and daily weigh in to get yourself amped.
