Is splitting up your protein into two okay? Also, if I’m really struggling, is it recommended to have an extra pack or an extra portion of protein? My previous coach said an extra packet on those hard days is okay to keep from crashing but that is generally more carbs.

I believe the general rule is, if you are OVER 300 pounds, to do four packets a day instead of three. Splitting your protein is fine. First, if extra hungry, I would do more water. Maybe you are thirsty. After that, I would keep a supply of boiled eggs in the refrigerator. Eat one of those and more water if you are still hungry.

Remember it's only 4-6 oz now so more difficult to split up

I have an hard boiled egg or two on the hard days, those are usually right before my period. Opt for protein or an extra packet, that’s better than sabotaging yourself.
