I use to run intervals (jog more like) when I did this program five years ago. I tore my miniscus two years ago (minor tear) cand have been afraid to run again as I tried last year and I just couldn't do it. I lost weight so fast when I was running intervals and hope to try it again in the near future. It is the best feeling in the world to have runner's high.

@sciolism86 I am doing more walking intervals now, so walk at 3. 0 mph and then jack it up to 3. 2 varyingfor a minute each. It is slow but it is a start as I've been out of working out about 10 months.

Yes! I run, do high intensity cardio and yoga. I work out 4 days a week with 3 rest days. I have lost 90lbs in 10 months with no issues. I eat higher fats on days that I work out. I was cleared to have nut butter, raw nuts OR 1/2 of an avocado only on days I work out.

I run and work out regularly as well. I need it for my mental health. Just talk to your coach and make sure they have a plan. I eat an extra packet or a little more protein at dinner on days I work out. The Branch Chain Aminos (from IP) are great too

Be careful not to get caught in the no- exercise trap. I stayed away from exercise while in the diet and deeply regret it.

Thanks for the insights. My friend and I signed up for a 10K and I’d really like to do some running on the treadmill but I don’t want to keep losing weight. Also exercise makes me feel sooo good!

I run and also do an hour of hot yoga/Pilates 4 times a week. I drink the Branch Chain amino acids.

@motte I was thinking of starting the BCAA what is the best time to drink it? Do you drink it everyday or just on exercise days?

I was a 20 thousand steps a day person. I still do that. Introducing something new is not recommended but if it was always a part of your routine there is nothing wrong with keeping it up
