On the struggle bus today. not in a good headspace so it's making me dwell on junk foods. Ughhh! I think Im noticing a trend with me. just when I really get in the groove and am making good progress, it's almost like my thoughts start trying to self sabotage. I am not really sure why that is? Not a good pattern and something to think on and figure out.

I think a lot of us are like that because we want what we miss and we try to make excuses as to why that is okay. I like the saying, you are stronger than your excuses.

Dont b too hard on urself. These are very difficult times for most people. I find that focusing on this protocol takes my mind off of the madness if only for a short period of time.

@variegated yes we do! I love this group. I knew if I got on here and posted instead of giving in to my thoughts, that I'd get some encouragement and also help encourage others who might be struggling too. Thanks for commenting some positivity

@nonconformity37567 of course! I just had my 4 week weigh in I’m down 15 and thrilled! It’s been a roller coaster with this corona and I have been far from perfect but considering all of this I’ve made healthier choices! Believe me when my kids have pizza I’m drooling but I haven’t given in to that I find an alternative! Cauliflower has become my new friend! Lol Message any time always here for support! I’m gonna get to my goal this time no matter what!

@variegated well done on your loss and 4 weeks! I forget what week I'm in. I started IP on 1/31. But I had started my weightloss journey on my own before that and started out at 270lbs. As of this morning, I am now at 230. 8. I have a lot to go, but im so proud of the progress I've already made. Its not easy, but Im worth it! And so are you! We got this

Me too. I get these strong urges so I give in then get right back to it, do well until the next time. Strange how I can get right back into my groove quickly. It’s like a once every month to month and a half.

@rust35767 I'm so thankful I have this group so that I don't feel alone in this. Keep it up. as long as we don't give up completely if we make a mistake. That was something I used to do on other diets. If I made a mistake, i would end up letting it railroad me completely. This time, I won't let it do that!

@nonconformity37567 as easy as this program is it is difficult. I certainly get right back and don’t think of junk until my next time. Hormones, perhaps? No clue but I gain up to 2 pounds of carb bloat then trudge along. I only have 10-12 pounds to lose.

I get it but hang in there. Ain't no food tastes as good as skinnier feels. And I mean that literally and figuratively. You can do it.
