So I might have figured out why I’ve been stalled. I weighed myself Saturday morning and I was 187. 6. Woke up the next morning and I was 5lbs heavier and swollen. And the swelling continues. I have a congenital defect with my kidneys that could have been the culprit, but I haven’t had any pain. So I decided to take my blood pressure at cvs today. 136/86! I’ve never had high blood pressure. It’s always 118ish/70 something. Ugh! No extra salt in my diet, but some stress from work and home life. Has anyone else had an issue with blood pressure causing you to retain fluid? I’m going to call my doc to see if taking bp meds is something I should do.

Did you tell your clinic about your kidney defect? That's very important! Just worried about your health. :-)

@egregious yeah its a utereropelvic junction obstruction. I didn’t find out about until 6 years ago. I haven’t had any issues before or after. My urologist said I’d swell and have pain if it became a problem again. The tube that carries urine to the bladder on one of my kidneys is twisted. He said it’s rare that it’s found this late. So yay I’m rare haha. But didn’t want to fix it unless I had issues. And had a kidney function test a few years ago with no issues. Bah!

@franfranc7 ekg was normal and they did blood work. Possible electrolyte imbalance.

@franfranc7 they told me to reduce my salt. Which is crazy because my salt intake hasn’t changed. I’ve been on ip since March 2019

I’m at my clinic now and going to talk to my coach

@franfranc7 I increased it some. I started some meds in October that dehydrate me. And I’m trying to fix that. But only by 10oz. Nothing crazy.
