Opinions wanted.  Ive been on IP for 2 months, I have about 2 or 3 more months before goal weight.Opinions wanted. Ive been on IP for 2 months, I have about 2 or 3 more months before goal weight. My dillema is this. I have auto immune disease which means I can't have dairy, gluten, grains, corn, sugar. many of the IP products have those things in them and I am getting colds left and right from eating the IP foods. I would like to stay on IP but how can I do that if the products have all of these trigger ingredients in them. Has anyone else found similar products without all of these things? thank you

Check out the alternatives group page they do the same program with alternative products maybe there’s more of a variety for you there?!

You can also contact ip and ask which items have less or none of these things. That might help

I searched the group and found some things to report back. Not sure if anything has changed in the makeup of items listed but it give you something to start from maybe.

Maybe limiting your selections so you aren’t having three packets with the things that bother you in them and instead finding 2 that don’t bother you and 1 that might, could help you get through the next few months.

I like that idea but I am still starving all the time and feel like a limp noodle with no energy so I really need 3 packets but I get your point

@jujutsu1 still try the three but instead of blindly picking three with things that irritate your system maybe pick two that are gluten free or dairy free and one that might not be if you need to.

We have had countless auto immune clients with loads of food sensitives who have done really well with IP foods. It has been a really rough year for people with flu/colds - worst I can remember seeing. Any chance you are just getting sick or is it very clear it is auto immune and not normal colds?

Just east the sheet but not the IP products. Swap IP for real protein sources that you can eat. So swap 2 eggs for your breakfast IP packet. A few cubes of chicken for lunch IP packet. For snack, chose 2 cups of kale which is high in veggie protein. You want to aim to bring in 4-5 extra oz of protein. I have done this successfully and shred weight. The only thing is - a huge pain for meal prep and you may feel exhausted by so much repetition and veggies. I like IP products for taste and convenience but I too am very intolerant.
