Walden Farms or make your own. Some add protocol mustard. Nothing else is protocol.

@sweetbrier most regular mustard are protocol :) ( Dijon is , yellow is, German mustard is ect. )

@landan I am paranoid! I still read the ingredients. I have seen some Dijon with wine in it.

Hence why I said most not all :p but mustard if you happen to just have plain regular yellow mustard all is fine  and I find that if you stay away from the " fency " mustard that cost an arm and a leg 99. 9% of the time you'll have a protocol mustard

I don’t know. I’ve seen some people post they find some items at Walmart but my Walmart doesn’t carry any WF products.

Yeah, making your own is probably best. It’s pretty easy and better fresh

Thanks for posting this recipe. I’ve been wanting to make my own mayonnaise again but lost my recipe. I just tried this one with olive oil. Didn’t like it as well as my other recipe but still better than wf. Put it in deviled eggs and they turned out fine. Question - microwave for 5 sec to boil?!?

@stott not sure. I haven’t made it yet. Just came across it a few days ago.

I make my own :) And always had since I have chickens haha I find that if you do make your own . Avoid using EVOO to do it. it's gross 2 egg yolks 1. 5 tsp yellow mustard 2 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp vinegar Salt to taste About 1 c of oil Will give you about 2 cups of mayo When I use it I use it as my fat for the day :)

@landan what oil do you use?
by (1.5k points)
@featurelength5 personally , canola :) as I find it being the cheaper and makes for the best texture ! As long as it's not EVOO I'm happy tough

I use grape seed oil as it doesn't have a taste, I made it once with EVOO and had to throw it

I mix WF chipotle mayo with yellow mustard when I make tuna salads. Throw in some pickles to add flavor with a pinch of salt and pepper. tastes normal to me.
